Leverage the City of Virginia Beach's color palette, brand fonts, graphic elements, or display the Virginia Beach logo with pride to create inspired spaces that generate excitement and build affinity.
When an individual enters a physical space, it should immediately look and feel like the City of Virginia Beach, whether achieved through paint, signage, furniture, or the materials used in a room. All logos and design assets must be used in accordance with brand guidelines.
Signage and wayfinding is a highly visible expression of the City of Virginia Beach brand and enhances the experience of our visitors, residents and Members.
All exterior building signage is maintained by Facilities Management. Signage includes consistent placement of building identification to make navigating our spaces easy. All official building signage and wayfinding must be coordinated and approved by Facilities Management.
Directional or wayfinding signage should be clear and concise. Use brand font and colors.

From classroom and office identification to building directories, interior building signage is critical for wayfinding. Facilities Management coordinates and maintains interior building signage to ensure consistency is achieved and standards are met across fabrication and installation.
